Apologies

Ladies/Gents,
apologies for the lack of posts, my Mam took ill mid March and she passed away last Saturday so as you can imagine things have been a little hectic!!!!

I will still be at Salute this weekend with all my stock, I haven't had time to do my new display but hopefully it will make it's appearance later this year.

If you're going to Salute pop over and say hi even if I can't get you to part with cash.

I will have the Russian and Austrian equipment and artillery with me from the Jim's Minden/Fife and Drum range.

See you Saturday?

Coming soon

For those hat are on facebook then this will not be new news however for those that don't then look on and please make comment.
A colleague is looking to publish a book on the Sugar Island' campaign of the 1730's and 1740's and rather rashly I said I would have a go at making some of the troops necessary.
Well below we have the first renditions of the Compagnies Franchaise de la Marine and the Naval landing party.

The Marines I have done using dollies form Richard, the landing party are based on the laborers from Jim's Minden/Fife and Drum range.

I intend to do he Marines in Tricorns and to add to the lading party so there's about 25 different figures.
In the pipeline slave militia and weapons for the naval bods.

Not all the marines are shown but hopefully will give you a taste

New web site, new figures available to order

First up you will notice above a link to my new web site, its still the same address. - still lots of work to do including taking new photos for the whole range but you will see the progress over the coming weeks.

Whilst waiting for the new sculpts from Richard Ansell I've still managed to send of some new figures for production

These are the long awaited:
  • British Fusilier 'at ready' in regulation dress.
  •
  • British Infantry gunners - suitable for serving battalion guns or assisting trained artillery crew.
  • Marching Savoia Grenadier sculpted by John Dougan
  • Generic 18th century musketeer marching. another sculpt by John Dougan for what I believe is a very useful figure for those people who aren't too worried about the number of buttons on a uniform! I will be using mine to start my Dutch army.
All are at Griffin for production moulds and casting and are available as back orders on the our website

Keep the suggestions for figures etc coming in
Thanks
Graham

New Figures available to pre.order soon

I have sent some figures off to Griffin to get into production.
Some of these are conversions and some new figures.
First up is the British Fusilier 'at ready' - a conversion but one I know customers have been asking for.
Nest British Infantry gunners - again a conversion but these should work as battalion gun crew or assistants for the real 'guys'
Then long awaited two figures sculpted by John Dougan - the first is the Savoia Grenadier marching and the second is a 'generic musketeer marching ( I'm going to use them for Dutch)

All of these will be available to pre.order from next week when the new web site hopefully goes live (same address) if anything goes wrong they will be on the old site too.
